SCLEROTHERAPY

Leg Spider Vein Treatment
Sclerotherapy "Spider veins" of the legs respond well to sclerotherapy which is performed by injecting an approved solution into appropriate small thin vessels. In this example the deeper larger blue veins were treated surgically but the small purple vessels were treated by sclerotherapy. Often several sessions may be required to provide maximal improvement. Surgical treatment of leg veins is not undertaken at our facility.
