BLU-U LIGHT TREATMENT

Teenage Acne Back
This 17 year old male demonstrates significant improvement of inflammatory acne of the back following two office treatments employing ALA/BLU-U therapy (photodynamic therapy). Systemic oral medications were not required thus avoiding unwanted potential side-effects of drugs. Usually a series of three treatments is undertaken over a period ranging between six to twelve weeks to provide marked improvement or complete remission of mild to severe acne. Treatments may also be combined with other acne regimes as recommended by Dr Joanna Day.
